Above all, be of a single aim; have a legitimate and useful purpose, and devote yourself unreservedly to it. JAMES ALLEN
There is a heartbeat and passion behind every voice. There is something about your voice that makes you unique, it makes you stand out of the crowd, it causes you to be noticed. A lot of women have lost their voices to circumstances, some lost it to fear of uncertainty, some lost it out of ignorance, and some never bother to know it at all.
A woman can lose her voice to the harsh memories from the rape incident that she encountered, the pains and betrayal that has caused her to hate herself, hate life and men. The stigma from having to deliver her child through cesarean delivery and not pushing the baby out herself. The insult, the let down from homes that value less about a woman’s input.
A woman’s inability to conceive has been termed her fault, and her home is about breaking because of the threatening words coming from her husband and her in-laws.
The misconception of her personality has termed her unreal…so she is struggling just to explain herself to many, she is struggling, just to become solely what others will see and give her thumbs up for, whether she gets satisfaction in it or not.
Some women were told that a girl grows to become a wife, so some of them have conditioned their minds on settling down with a man immediately they are of age. Just few pursue to become better with their voices.
Some women that up to marriageable age (as they will term it) and yet not married, have received insults and experience a lot of unnecessary push in life.
These and more are enough to make a woman not to find her voice, they are enough to make a woman lose her voice, they are enough to make a woman lose focus on herself and what she cares for, they are enough to cause a woman to cry, they are enough to make a woman succumb to pressures and think less of understanding her voice and how to make it count.
Becoming more has always been a struggle for some women…maybe it’s because of difference in upbringing , difference in experiences, difference in mindset, but whichever it is, woman you can become more.
You are a real woman, so thrive. Becoming more is not a threat to your husband, rather it is a blessing to him. Becoming more with your voice doesn’t make you less than a man. Becoming more does not stop you from being a wife too. Becoming more does not make you more than any human being, it simply gives you fulfillment and satisfaction.
Becoming more opens you to know your worth, know who you are in your home and society. You are not measured by your experiences, rather you are measured by who you have seen yourself to be.
Now what’s your voice? Your voice is embedded in who you are, it is embedded in your life’s journey, your voice selects who you associate with, and it selects the kind of man that can deal with your potential.
Your voice is Your LIFE’S PURPOSE…so BECOME MORE with YOUR VOICE.
Your voice is your purpose which is meant to be loud. it’s time to activate and loud it for everyone to hear. You activate it be recognizing it, building capacities round it, and living it.
